Heartland Petroleum provides practical solutions for the disposal of used oil and antifreeze. Heartland will dispatch a Heartland tanker truck to your designated location to pick up the accumulated used oil and antifreeze your company has collected. Requests for collection of used oil and/or antifreeze can be made either by phone, fax, or on-line. Heartland is able to accommodate most requests within 24 hours of receipt of notice for established customers.

Once collected, Heartland Petroleum is able to store and transport the used oil and antifreeze to recyclers of such products. Used oil is most frequently used as alternative fuel source. Used antifreeze is recycled and returned back to its virgin grade.

The disposal of used oil filters is regulated by several different agencies and rules. Because used oil filters typically contain concentrations of heavy metals and organic components such as benzene, there is no simple method of used filter disposal. Heartland will arrive at your location with a box truck to collect the 55 gallon drums containing your used oil filters, and leave you the empty drums you require. For larger volume customers, Heartland utilizes a specifically designed bulk dumpster trailer to collect the filters from a four-yard dumpster Heartland provides. Heartland's collection service allows you to keep your facility clean and free of unsightly 55 gallon drums. Use of Heartland's Filter Management Services provides certainty that all solids will be consumed in steel melting furnaces and that all used oils will be consumed as alternative fuel.
